This South Carolina singer/songwriter has come a long way since the days of sneaking in his guitar to the barracks at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. Just before graduation, his mother unexpectedly passed away which altered his plans to go to dental school. Mitchell decided to put dental school on hold, and explore this new found passion as a performing musician.
Upon graduation, Mitchell started to play around the Charleston area as a solo acoustic artist. Eventually, he built a popular band with other local musicians. Quickly, 'Southwood' became one of the most sought after bands in the southeast, opening for national acts like Kenny Chesney, Chris Young, Zac Brown, Chris Lane and many more. After good regional success, Mitchell approached the band about his desires to take their music to the next level... it was evident that Mitchell's dreams were bigger. Mitchell now has made the move to Nashville and just released his first debut single, "Already Gone" (Feb. 2018).
